Ranbir-Sai will start shooting for Ramayana in February 2024: KGF fame Yash will shoot only for 15 days in July, makers will focus on storytelling

Many Ramayana based projects are being discussed in Bollywood for the last few years. In 2020, filmmaker Madhu Mantena had confirmed that he is going to work on this project with director Nitesh Tiwari.

It is heard that actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash will be seen in lead roles in the film. It will go on floors in early 2024.

This will be the first time when Ranbir, Sai and Yash will work together on a film.

The VFX plates of the film were also ready.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranbir and Sai will start shooting for this film in February next year. Yash will start shooting for it by July 2024. He has given only 15 days to the makers for shooting. They will complete their remaining projects before this.

In media reports, quoting sources related to the film, it has been said that the film team has made complete preparations before the shooting. Even Oscar winning company DNEG has prepared the VFX plate of the film.

Director Nitesh Tiwari is considering making this film in three parts.

Focus will be on storytelling more than VFX
If sources related to the film are to be believed, the makers are focusing more on storytelling and character emotions than VFX in this film. In the film, Ranbir will be seen in the role of Lord Shri Ram. Whereas Sai will play the role of Sita Maa. Yash will play the character of Ravana in the film.

It is discussed that this film will be made in 3 parts. Some portions of it will also be shot in Sri Lanka. Recently the makers have also done a look test of the cast. Talking about work front, Ranbir’s film Animal is to be released on December 1.
