India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been elected ICC Player of the Month for the month of February. For the second consecutive month, an Indian cricketer has won this award. Rishabh Pant was elected Player of the Month in January. Ashwin has left England captain Joe Root and young West Indies batsman Kyle Myers in the race for the award.
24 wickets in three Tests in February, 32 wickets in series
Both Bat and Ball played a key role in the 34-year-old Ashwin in the Test series against England. He took a total of 32 wickets in the series and also had one. Three Test matches of this series were played in February, in which Ashwin took 24 wickets at an average of 15.70. He also scored 176 runs in these Test matches at an average of 35.20. It also included an excellent century of 106 runs in the second Test match in Chennai.

He scored 50 plus in all the matches. In the race in Beaumount, she has left behind her own country Natalie Skiver and New Zealand’s Brook Halliday.
