Recruitment of 32 thousand teachers started in Rajasthan: REET candidates will be able to apply online till February 9, 10% marks will be added to academic index

In order to fill the vacant posts of Level-1 and Level-2 in government schools in Rajasthan, the Education Department has issued a notification for the recruitment of 32 thousand posts. Under which applications have been sought for the posts of primary and upper primary as well as special education. The applications have started from January 10 and will be filled by February 9. For this, candidates will be able to apply online through SSO ID on the website of Education Department http://recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in.

Candidates having qualification or eligibility for more than one post during the recruitment process will have to apply separately. Whereas offline applications will not be accepted. During the online application, candidates from all over Rajasthan and outside Rajasthan including the scheduled area will also be able to apply for the posts of non-scheduled area. Only the native candidates of the scheduled area of โ€‹โ€‹Rajasthan will be able to apply for the posts of the scheduled area.

Number of posts: 31 thousand general education + 1000 special education

  • Non Scheduled Area Teacher Level-1 General Education – 11500
  • Non Scheduled Area Teacher Level-1 Special Education – 440
  • Scheduled Area Teacher Level-1 General Education – 3500
  • Scheduled Area Teacher Level-1 Special Education – 60
  • Non Scheduled Area Teacher Level-2 General Education – 13420
  • Non Scheduled Area Teacher Level-2 Special Education – 455

In fact, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced to recruit 31 thousand posts, but a total of 32 thousand posts would be recruited by the Department of Elementary Education. It also includes one thousand posts of special education.

This will be the application fee

  • Other Backward Classes / Extremely Backward Classes of General Category, Creamy Layer Classes and all the candidates from outside the state โ€“ Rs.100
  • Backward Classes / Extremely Backward Classes and Economically Weak candidates of non-creamy layer category of Rajasthan โ€“ Rs 70
  • All specially abled and SC / ST Sahariya category of Rajasthan – Rs 60

REET Eligibility Rules

  • Percentage of marks of REET recruitment exam will be the basis of application for recruitment
  • General / Unreserved – 60 Marks (TSP & Non TSP)
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 55 (Non TSP), 36 (TSP)
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), OBC, MBC and Economically Weaker Section – 55 Marks (Non TSP and TSP)
  • Widow & Abandoned Women & Ex-Servicemen of All Category – 50 Marks (TSP & Non TSP)
  • Divyang – 40 Marks (TSP & Non TSP)
  • Saharia Tribe – 36 Marks (TSP & Non TSP)

This will be the basis of selection
Bikaner Directorate of Secondary Education will add 10 percent marks to the academic index of the eligible candidates. After that the final merit list will be prepared. On the basis of this, the government will give appointments. The formula of 90:10 will be applied for the final merit. That is, 90 percent marks will be taken from the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET), while 10 percent will be taken from the academic degree.

Level First: Direct merit will be made on the basis of REET marks. That is, the number of marks that have come out of 150 marks. No other numbers will be added.

Level Second: Merit will be made by combining 90 percent weightage of 150 marks of REET and 10 percent graduation marks.

When will you get the appointment
Appointment on 32 thousand posts of teachers will be available in the new session itself. It is expected that new teachers will reach the school by March and April. Actually, only applications have been sought till February 9. In such a situation, if this work is done in the next one month itself, then the students will get the benefit.

Let us tell you that the result of REET was released only within 36 days. This time more than 25 lakh candidates had applied for REET. Out of this, 11 lakh four thousand 216 have been declared eligible. Of these, 3 lakh three thousand 604 have been declared eligible for level-1 and 7 lakh 73 thousand 612 for level-2. Out of these, 32 thousand teachers will be appointed on the basis of merit.
