Remembering Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher wept: said – we used to fight with each other, we used to fight… I do not understand what to do

Actor-director Satish Kaushik passed away on Wednesday night at 1:30 am in Delhi. He was 66 years old. Anupam Kher gave this information by tweeting. He and Satish Kaushik were friends for the last 45 years. Two days after his death, Anupam Kher’s video has surfaced, in which he wept remembering his best friend.

This video has been shared by Anupam Kher on his Instagram handle. Through this video, he told- I am talking to you people because I am very sad because of losing my friend Satish Kaushik and it is hurting me. We were friends for 45 years. Being with him was a habit.

Ever since he has gone, sometimes, like today I was thinking where should I eat, what food should I eat. Then I said that hey, I will call Satish. I picked up the phone and was about to dial her number when I remembered that she is no more with us.

We both started our career together
This time is very difficult for me because 45 years is a long time to be with someone. We both had dreams together. We both started our career together from the National School of Drama. We used to get up and sit together, we used to eat food together. He was a day scholar and I was a hosteller. Bombay he came first, I came later. Both of us worked very hard, reached this stage and achieved success.

Anupam Kher said – We used to get jealous and fight too
Anupam Kher further says – We both used to get jealous and fight with each other, but used to call each other everyday at 8 or 8:30 in the morning. I am not feeling like doing any work since yesterday. I want to move on from this thing. When we lose someone or someone leaves our life, we have to move on. Life also teaches us this and this is what we have to learn. I thought that if I share with you all what I am thinking in my mind, then I will be able to feel better.

Anupam Kher bursts into tears as soon as he says this. Taking care of himself, he further says – I have to move on but it does not mean that I will forget Satish or the emptiness that has happened due to his departure. I will do those things further in life, which will make him happy. Even sitting at a distance, seeing my progress, he would say – Wow, you are doing better work than me.

Said goodbye to the world at the age of 66
Actor and director Satish Kaushik died on Wednesday night at 1:30 am in Delhi. He was 66 years old. He had gone to participate in the Holi program in Delhi. Postmortem of his dead body was done at Deendayal Hospital in Delhi after the sudden death, in the postmortem report the cause of death was stated as cardiac arrest. His body was brought to his home in Mumbai, from where his last journey was taken out. After this he was cremated at the cremation ground in Versova.
