After flag hoisting in all the police stations of Ghaziabad, the oath of unity and integrity of the nation was administered to all the policemen.

Republic Day is being celebrated with great pomp in Ghaziabad on Friday. The tricolor was hoisted at many places. Patriotic songs were sung. Cultural programs were organized in schools and colleges. There are tight security arrangements in the entire district today. There is strict surveillance on the UP-Delhi border. Due to the Republic Parade in Delhi today, there is a ban on entry of heavy vehicles till noon.
