On September 28, the Houthi rebels announced a missile strike targeting Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s return from New York. Using a Palestine-2 ballistic missile, the attack aimed to support Palestinians and respond to Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon. Although the missile was intercepted by Israel’s Arrow defense system, sirens were activated in central Israel. Following the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Houthis warned of increased retaliation against Israel, indicating a new chapter in regional confrontations.
