In a new episode of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives Season 3, Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, shared that her daughter, Samara, is Ananya’s biggest fan. Riddhima even introduced Samara to Ananya’s parents, Bhavana and Chunky Panday, who were thrilled to hear about it. Chunky, known for his role in Housefull, proudly introduced himself as Ananya’s father and expressed his happiness over his daughter’s achievements.
Ananya has grown her fan base recently, resonating particularly with young audiences like Riddhima’s daughter Samara. Her roles—whether as a relatable young woman, a wealthy fashionista, or an influencer—have struck a chord with young girls. Samara was excited to meet Ananya’s parents, and Bhavana and Chunky welcomed her warmly.
As Chunky introduced himself as “Ananya’s father,” his wife, Bhavana, commented on how much she “loved” his proud introduction. Riddhima explained Samara’s admiration, saying, “For Samara, Ananya Panday is her idol.”
The moment brought an emotional touch for Chunky, who admitted he hadn’t enjoyed his own success as much as he’s now celebrating his daughter’s. With his usual humor, he joked that people now believe that if Ananya, the CTRL actress, can act, maybe her dad can too!

In the series, she portrays Nella, starring opposite Vihaan Samat, who plays Joe. In the show, the duo play social media influencers. Their lives take a dark turn as AI begins to wreak havoc, especially in terms of data privacy.
The actress’s upcoming project is Shankara, where she’ll star alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan. The film is a biopic centered on the life of lawyer Sankaran Nair, set during the British India era.
