The woman injured in a road accident near Jadugodha Rankini temple died while undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital. The deceased was Saroj Mishra (37), resident of Kailash Nagar, Bermamines, who worked at a post office in Bistupur on contract. The woman was sitting on the back of the bike and during this time she fell on the road. He died of a serious head injury. The woman also wore a helmet.
Saroj Mishra was going to Ghatshila on a bike on Sunday morning along with her colleague Dharmendra Singh, resident of Bardih, for some work in the post office. This accident happened during this time. The deceased’s husband Santosh Mishra is a Jusko worker. He is working in Kalinganagar, Odisha.
Here, other families, including the deceased’s son Shubham Mishra, reached MGM Hospital on notice of the incident. The colleague told that both of them were going to Ghatshila at 9.30 am from bike to post office work. The woman fell from a moving bike while crossing a breaker located some distance away from the Rankani temple.
