Former West Indies opener Chris Gayle reached Nassau Stadium. Gayle’s look was quite stylish. He wore a special India-Pakistan blazer. The blazer had the colours of the national flags of both the countries. Gayle met the Indian and Pakistani players who were practising and took their signatures on his blazer. Players like Virat Kohli, Babar Azam were among those who gave autographs.

Before the match, T20 World Cup 2024 brand ambassadors, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi and former Team India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh were seen together.

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been in jail since August last year. He is accused of corruption in the Toshakhana case. Before the general elections held in February this year, Imran has been sentenced to 31 years in 3 cases.

4. Rohit forgot the coin during the toss

The India-Pakistan match was delayed due to rain. The toss took place at 8 o’clock, not 7:30. Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam reached the ground for the toss. Presenter Ravi Shastri asked Rohit Sharma to toss the coin. Rohit had forgotten that the toss coin was in his pocket. After this, Rohit took out the coin from his pocket and tossed. 7. Pant got 2 lives in the last over of the powerplay

The last over of the powerplay was bowled by Mohammad Aamir. Rishabh Pant was in front. On the first ball, Iftikhar Khan dropped Pant’s catch at slip. On the second ball, Pant played a shot towards cover. The ball went very high. Usman Khan tried to catch it, but he could not catch the ball.

8. Aamir took the wickets of Pant and Jadeja in one over

Mohammad Aamir bowled the 15th over for Pakistan. He took 2 consecutive wickets in this over. First, he got Pant caught by Babar Azam. After this, he took the wicket of Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja was defending Aamir’s length ball, the ball stopped a bit. Jadeja gave the catch to Imad Wasim standing at the covers.

Jasprit Bumrah took the fourth wicket of Pakistan in the 15th over. The wicket was of Rizwan who was playing after scoring 31 runs. Bumrah bowled a fast in-swing ball. Rizwan could not defend and the ball hit the middle stumps directly. This was a big setback for Pakistan’s innings.

11. Shivam Dubey dropped the catch of Mohammad Rizwan

In the third over of Pakistan’s innings, Shivam Dubey gave Mohammad Rizwan a new lease of life. Bumrah was bowling this over. Rizwan played his length ball to deep fine leg. This fast shot went straight into Shivam Dubey’s hands, but he could not catch it. After this, in the very next over, Mohammad Siraj dropped Babar’s catch in the follow through. Babar had played a fast straight shot on Siraj’s ball. Siraj tried to catch the ball, but the ball slipped away.

12. Suryakumar’s super catch, Babar returned to the pavilion

Bumrah took the first wicket of Pakistan’s team chasing 120 runs. This wicket was of captain Babar Azam. Azam was playing after scoring 13 runs. Bumrah bowled a fast inswing. Babar Azam could not connect it and the ball took the edge of the bat and went to the slip. Here was Suryakumar, who took a brilliant catch while diving.
13. Usman Khan and Pandya collide at the crease

In the 9th over, Hardik Pandya and Usman Khan collided at the crease. On the third ball, Rizwan played a shot on short leg. Usman, standing at the non-strike, ran to take the run. Hardik ran to field the ball and collided with Usman Khan. Hardik threw the ball towards the non-strike wickets but the throw did not hit. Here, Usman could have been run out.

14. Pant took a leaping catch of Fakhar Zaman

Rishabh Pant did good wicketkeeping. He took 3 excellent catches.

Pandya gave India its third success in the 13th over. He bowled a short ball in the second over. Fakhar went for a pull but got a top edge. Pant ran backwards and took a jumping catch. Pant caught the catches of Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan in this match.
