The 19th match of the T20 World Cup between India and Pakistan is being played at the Nassau International Cricket Stadium in New York.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl first. India was all out after scoring 119 runs in 19 overs. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf took 3-3 wickets for Pakistan. While Mohammad Aamir got 2 wickets. Pakistan got a target of 120 runs.

Many moments were seen in India’s innings. Before the match, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, brand ambassador of T20 World Cup 2024 and former Team India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh came to watch the match. During the toss, Rohit forgot to put the toss coin in his lowers.

Rohit forgot the toss coin during the toss
After the rain, both captains arrived for the toss. Toss representative Ravi Shastri asked Rohit Sharma to toss the coin. Rohit had forgotten that the toss coin was in his pocket. After this, he took out the coin from his pocket and tossed. However, Pakistan won the toss.

Virat Kohli hit a four on the first ball of Naseem Shah’s over who came to bowl the second over of the innings. He played a beautiful cover drive and sent the ball beyond the boundary line. Then after playing a dot ball on the next ball, he got caught out on the third ball.

He was out after getting caught by Usman Khan standing at cover point on a short length ball from Naseem. Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring 4 runs.

Pant gets 2 lives in the last over of the powerplay
Aamir bowled the last over of the powerplay. He missed chances to catch Pant out on the first two balls, but the first ball was caught by Iftikhar Ahmed at slip and the second ball was caught by Usman Khan behind cover point. Fours came on the first and fifth balls of this over.
