India captain Rohit Sharma took 241 innings to get to the milestone which is the second quickest after Virat Kohli.
Rohit Sharma on Tuesday reached the milestone of 10,000 runs in ODI cricket during India’s Super Four clash against Sri Lanka in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. With a six, the India ODI captain got to the magical landmark and also became the second quickest (in terms of innings) to do so.
Counted among the modern-day batting greats, Rohit joined the likes of fellow countryman Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni in the list.
Overall, he’s the 15th batter in ODI history to do so.
