Devi Ahilya University has decided to take semester examinations of NCTE recognized BEd-MEd and various law courses. All exams of LLB, BALLB, BBALLB will normally be in offline mode. Only the delayed LLB and LLM second semester examinations will be online. On the other hand, BEd and MEd examinations will be done through open book system. On Monday, a meeting was held between the Board of Studies and the Dean, Chairman and University officials, in which this decision was taken. The examinations will start from April 1, while the online and open book exams will be held in the month of February. In the meeting, decisions have been taken keeping in view the instructions given in respect of examinations of Higher Education Department.
Controller of Examinations Dr. Ashesh Tiwari and Chairman of Law’s Board of Studies, Dr. R. Rahman said that LLB Third and Fifth Semester, BALLB, BBALLB and BComLLB Third, Fifth, Seventh and Ninth Semester examinations should normally be taken in offline mode. These exams will be held from April 1 and their results will be announced by May. The same previous semester delayed LLB second semester and LLM second semester exam will be online in February. It has been decided in relation to the examinations for admission education which lasted till January. The BEd and MEd second semester examinations will be conducted through the open book system. On the other hand, no decision has been taken regarding the first semester examinations of both law and education. In fact, this time till 12 January, the process of admission in these courses was going on, due to which only their course will be completed in April. These will be decided later. BEd and MEd are also in the first semester.
