Russia accused the US of bankrolling Ukrainian attempts on the life of President Vladimir Putin. The claim came just hours after former US president Donald Trump was injured in an assassination attempt. The charges from Moscow came after Ukrainian spy chief Kyrylo Budanov revealed failed assassination attempts on Putin in an interview. Budanov said, “There have been assassination attempts [on Putin], but, as you can see, they haven’t been successful so far.” A Reuters report claimed that Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, is becoming more and more concerned for his life amid the ongoing war.
