ADGC Vikram Singh Verma said, on 26 December 2015, in the Kutubsher police station area, a murderous attack was made on property dealer Satpal Chhabra and his son Advocate Karamveer Singh. The accused brothers Bhupendra Singh Batra (64) and Amarjit Singh Batra (71) and their sons Guru Pratap Singh alias Honey (34) son of Bhupendra Singh, Gurneet Singh alias Sunny (36) son and Gurmeet Singh alias Raju (59) son of Sardar Singh stopped the car of the father-son duo and attacked them with sharp weapons. The murderers made about 10 attacks on Advocate Karamveer Singh’s body with daggers and knives. One attack was made on the chest. Due to which the deceased’s heart was also damaged. Satpal Chhabra was also seriously injured.
