- Salaar Vs Dunki Box Office Collection Report: Prabhas Starrer Salaar Global Collection Breaks Record Earns 285 Crores In Two Days, Dunki Indian BO Collection Is Nearby 75 Cr

South superstar Prabhas' film 'Salaar' maintained its charm at the box office even on the second day of its release. Where on the opening day, Salaar collected Rs 90 crore 70 lakh at the Indian box office. On the second day, it earned Rs 55 crore across the country. Now its total Indian box office collection has reached Rs 145 crore 70 lakh.
According to trade experts, after collecting Rs 178.7 crore globally on the opening day, Salaar has collected Rs 106 crore on the second day. In just two days, the total global collection of Salaar has reached Rs 285 crore.
Donkey earned Rs 25.50 crore on Saturday
On the other hand, if we talk about the Indian box office collection of Shahrukh Khan's film 'Dinky', the film had earned Rs 29 crore 20 lakh on the first day and Rs 20 crore 50 lakh on the second day. Now on the third day i.e. on Saturday it collected Rs 25 crore 50 lakh.
Now the collection of Dunki across the country has reached Rs 74 crore 82 lakh. Donkey was released on Thursday, a day before Salaar.
World Wide Donkey had earned Rs 58 crore on the first day and Rs 45.4 crore on the second day. It collected Rs 103 crore globally in two days. At present, the global collection of its third day has not been revealed.
Salaar becomes the biggest opening film of 2023
Earlier, Salaar became the biggest opening film of the country this year. The film had earned a total of Rs 178.7 crore on the first day, out of which it had earned Rs 90 crore 70 lakh at the Indian box office.

- Malayalam: Rs 3 crore 55 lakh
- Tamil: Rs 3 crore 75 lakh

- Hindi: 15 crore 75 lakh rupees
- total: 90 crore 70 lakh rupees
Before Salaar came in this list, 'Adipurush' was at number 5 with earnings of Rs 137 crore. It was also the only Hindi film to find a place in this list. Prabhas has broken the opening day collection of his own film with Salaar. However, he could not break the record of his own film Baahubal 2 which was at second place in the list.
Salar will earn more than the budget by the weekend
The interesting thing is the speed at which Salar, made for around Rs 350-400 crore, is earning. Looking at this, it can be estimated that the film will earn more than its budget by the weekend. Along with Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Tinu Anand are also seen in important roles in the film Salaar directed by Prashant Neel.
