Salman Khan has arrived to cast his vote in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. The actor was seen arriving at his designated polling booth in Mumbai, amid tight security, to fulfill his civic duty. He was seen stepping out of his car, before making his way to the polling station.
Videos that have surfaced on social media show the actor posing for photographs with fans outside polling booth. The superstar was seen rocking a grey t-shirt with jeans, and a black cap.
Salman Khan has been receiving ongoing threats related to his 1998 blackbuck poaching case. The superstar has been keeping a low profile due to the recent threats, and is surrounded by heavy security every time he steps out. An alleged member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility for politician Baba Siddique’s death in October, issuing a threat to Salman Khan in the same statement. Since then, the Mumbai Police heightened Salman Khan’s security.
Meanwhile, there has been a huge voter turnout from B-Town. Throughout the day, celebrities such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and many others were spotted at the polling stations earlier today, to cast their votes.
On the professional front, Salman Khan will next be seen in the film Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is set to release on Eid 2025. The film has already garnered a major buzz, thanks to the powerhouse combination of Nadiadwala’s production skills and Murugadoss’s unique directorial vision.
