The Higher Education Department of Odisha has rolled out the third and final seat allotment list for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) 2024.Candidates can go to the official website of the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), Odisha, atpg.samsodisha.gov.into download the provisional seat allotment list for the third round of CPET 2024. To access the results, applicants need to enter their credentials, such as barcode number and registered mobile no., followed by the displayed captcha.
The CPET exam took place successfully from July 3 to July 14 this year, with the state-wide merit list published on August 5. Only candidates who participated in the choice-filling process, held from August 6 to August 12, will be considered for the seat allotment list.
SAMS Odisha CPET 2024: How to Check Round 3 Seat Allotment Result
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of SAMS Odisha, i.e.,samsodisha.gov.in, to check their provisional seat allotment results.
Step 2: Search for and click on the link that reads, โPost Graduationโ under the Higher Education section on the homepage.
Step 3: Upon clicking, candidates will be redirected to a new page where they will find a link titled โKnow your selection status (Round 3).โ
Step 4: Key in the asked credentials, such as Barcode No. and Registered Mobile No. followed by the displayed Captcha, and hit the submit button.
Step 5: Once done, your SAMS Odisha CPET 2024 Round 3 seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Check your seat allotment result and save a copy of the same for future reference.
SAMS Odisha CPET 2024: Next Steps for Allotted Candidates
Once candidates receive their seat allotment, they will have three choices:
Freeze: Accept the allocated seat and confirm admission at the designated college by September 13, 2024.
Slide-up: Choose to enter the upgrade process for a chance at a seat in a higher-ranked college, if available.
Float: Retain the allotted seat while participating in the upgrade process. However, there is a risk of losing the current seat if not upgraded to a preferred college.
