Five people, including two brothers, were killed in a car and container collision on Saturday Diwali night in Sant Kabirnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Among the dead, 4 are from Deoria and 1 from Kushinagar district. Two youths were returning home from Saudi, three people had gone to Amausi Airport in Lucknow to receive them. While returning from there, his car got uncontrolled near the Naveen Sabzi Mandi in Khalilabad and climbed on the divider. After this, it collided with the container coming from the front. The collision was so severe that the car flew away. Police have sent the dead bodies for postmortem and informed the family members of the dead.
Three people went to receive two youths
Amjad Ali (23 years), resident of Karamha village in Rampur factory station area of Deoria, and Armaan (30 years), resident of Kapuraipara village in Hata police station area of Kushinagar district, live in Saudi. They both returned on Saturday. To receive them, Amjad’s elder brother Afzal (30 years) by car, Riyaz (30 years) of village, Aas Mohammad (50 years) of Hirandapur village went to Chaudhary Charan Singh (Amausi) airport in Lucknow. After receiving Amjad and Armaan, everyone was returning home by car.
This is how an accident happened
But at around 2 pm, the car went uncontrolled on the Gorakhpur-Lucknow highway in Santakbirnagar district and climbed on the divider. He crossed it and hit the container going into the other lane. On receiving the information, SP Brajesh Singh and Manoj Pandey, in-charge of Kotwali Khalilabad reached the spot. All the bodies were sent to the post mortem house at the district hospital. Family members were informed about this.
