The Commissionerate of Higher Education, Department of Education, Gujarat has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor posts of various subjects in colleges. These vacancies have been declared on a total of 780 posts in different subjects. Interested candidates can apply in online mode till the last date i.e. December 21, 2020.
Eligibility
A related subject should have a Masters from a recognized university or institute with minimum 55% marks and a PhD as per NET or UGC standards. PhD degree should be obtained from regular mode. The PhD thesis must be evaluated by two external referees. Also, mandatory conditions include candidates being given viva for PhD.
Salary
Selected candidates will be paid a salary of Rs 40,176 per month.

Candidates can apply in online mode by December 21, 2020 through the official website www.rascheguj.in.
Selection Process
The eligible candidates for these posts will be selected as per UGC Regulations-2018. According to the posts, the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. During the interview, the selection committee will prepare a list of the selected candidates and the waiting candidates. These candidates will be able to be elected for vacant seats in future.
