Saurashtra’s team has defeated Punjab by 71 runs in the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals. Parth Bhat, who contributed significantly in all the four innings, was the player of the match. On 31 January, Saurashtra won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 303 runs in the first innings. Bowler Parth Bhat played an unbeaten inning of 111 runs. After him Snell Patel scored 70 runs. Mayank Markande of Punjab took 4 wickets and Baltej Singh took 3 wickets.
