The situation became such that the police had to be called at 2.30 pm and the ticket counters had to be closed for two hours. Tickets will be distributed to the rest from this morning till noon. Tickets for the final match will be available from tomorrow morning till Sunday afternoon.

Metro also issued special paper tickets
Due to the huge crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium, special paper tickets are also being issued by the metro train for those going to watch the match. This ticket can be taken from Motera Stadium Metro Station for Rs 25 for a round trip. At the same time, the train timings for Friday and Sunday have also been changed from 7 in the morning to 1 in the night. Metro frequency will be every five to six minutes.

The road from Janpath T to Motera Stadium will be closed for motorists from 2 pm on Friday and Sunday. Tapovan circle can be reached from ONGC via Janpatti to Prabodh Rawal circle. One DIG, 7 DCP, 10 ACP, 90 PI-PSI, 1500 policemen and 1 thousand traffic and home guard personnel will be deployed inside and outside the stadium.
