Section 144 was imposed in the district regarding the upcoming festivals and examinations in Amethi. After the imposition of Section 144 in the district, clouds of crisis are looming over the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra of former MP Rahul Gandhi, who is coming to Amethi on February 19, because many street meetings and public meetings are also proposed in Rahul's Nyaya Yatra. Section 144 will remain in effect in the district till March 31.
