Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan was spotted arriving at Ahmedabad’s KD Hospital.
Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday afternoon after he suffered from severe dehydration owing to the heat.
Gauri Khan visited Ahmedabad’s KD Hospital on Wednesday evening where her actor-husband, Shah Rukh Khan is admitted. In a video that surfaced on social media, Gauri was seen arriving at the hospital in her car. She got down from the vehicle and rushed inside the hospital to check on her husband’s health.
The Bollywood superstar was admitted to the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday evening. SRK suffered from severe dehydration owing to the heat. “Actor Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad apparently due to heat stroke,” a police official cited by the news agency PTI said.
Earlier today, Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta also visited SRK in the hospital.
SRK and his family have not issued any official statement regarding the reports of his hospitalisation. News18 Showsha also contacted the actor’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, but there has been no response from them as of now. However, several unconfirmed reports claim that King Khan is doing fine now and there’s nothing to worry.
Shah Rukh Khan was in Ahmedabad for his cricket team Kolkata Knight Rider’s (KKR) IPL 2024 Qualifier 1 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). On Tuesday night, the actor attended the IPL match at the Narendra Modi stadium and was on cloud nine after KKR won the play-offs to qualify for the finals.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Next, he will soon begin shooting for King. The film is being produced by Siddharth Anand and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and is also likely to star SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan. Recently, it was revealed that Shah Rukh will be playing a Don in his film. Much like his OG Don role, he will have shades of grey in King.
Shah Rukh Khan is likely to begin shooting for King later this year. Recently, the actor was speaking for Knight Club’s King Khan Rules on Star Sports when he shared insights on his return to the shooting schedule for the year. Shah Rukh mentioned that last year, he had three movie releases (Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki), which kept him constantly engaged. Considering the physical demands of his roles, he opted to take a break and focus on his IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
