Shah Rukh Khan works the hardest, says the casting director.
Casting director-filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra is a fan of Shah Rukh Khan and praises his dedication and hard work.
Is there anyone in Bollywood who hasn’t been charmed by Shah Rukh Khan? It seems unlikely! Casting director-filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra is also a fan and praises Shah Rukh’s dedication and hard work. In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Chhabra said, “A person who works hard, continuously and with dedication from morning till evening is a star for me. No one can predict how big or popular you will become. The only exception here is Shah Rukh Khan. He is on another level and no one can touch him. Everyone works hard, but very few work harder than he does. And he has been doing it for so many years. He is still in love with acting. Many people come to Bombay to work, inspired by him. He is a common influence for many.”
Last year, Mukesh Chhabra was not just involved as a casting director for Atlee’s Jawan but also appeared in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, teaming up with the superstar once again. He explained, “I couldn’t say no because Shah Rukh sir was standing in front of me. I mean, how can you say no? You can consider yourself lucky if you get a chance to stand before him and he looks into your eyes,” said Chhabra.
Mukesh said that people who spend time with Shah Rukh Khan notice something special. “Every time you meet him, he showers you with love. That doesn’t change. Usually, once you start working with an actor and get to know them, things become normal between you. But not with him. The more you meet him, the more you love him, and it keeps growing endlessly. Even after going back home, you’ll find yourself thinking about Shah Rukh Khan,” said Chhabra, who has worked with the megastar on films like Chak De! India, Zero and Jab Harry Met Sejal. “It’s not just that you love him; he loves you back, and his love is so genuine that you end up loving him even more,” he added.
