Shahid Kapoor said – despite doing superhit films, sat at home: said – did not get work for 6 months after the film Vivah and Kabir Singh

Shahid Kapoor says that even after giving superhit films like Vivah and Kabir Singh, he was sitting at home for 6 months. Shahid said that according to the roles he did, the makers did not understand what work to give him.

Shahid said that people think that after giving hit films, actors have a line of films, although this is not true. Shahid’s film Bloody Daddy is coming on OTT. Earlier, people liked his debut series ‘Farzi’ a lot.

Insecurity did not happen by working in Padmavat
Shahid has shared some interesting things with Dainik Bhaskar regarding his upcoming film and career. Shahid was asked if he did not get insecure after working in a film like Padmavat? Because Ranveer-Deepika took all the credit of the film.

In response, he said- I have probably done so much work and am at this stage that I do not compare myself with others. Apart from that, whether it is a solo film or with another star… I don’t have any issues. My role excites me and I feel this story should reach the audience.

People think that if an actor’s film works, then after that he would have a queue of films. Sometimes I had four to five films even after flops, and sometimes even after huge hits I didn’t have work. I find this thing very funny.

Shahid Kapoor’s recent release web series Farzi was well received. Now he will be seen in the film Bloody Daddy which will be streamed on Jio Cinema. This film has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Kabir has got Preeti..Now if something new happens, I will definitely do another part.
Shahid was asked if the audience will get to see the second part of Kabir Singh. In reply, he said- See Kabir Singh has got love. Well now director Sandeep Reddy Vanga will have to think of something new. But a funny film can definitely be made on what happens to Kabir Singh after marriage.

Obviously the story of Kabir Singh is such that people would love to watch it again and again. Although the story should be somewhat different. If it happens, I would definitely like to do it.
