Shahid Kapoor said during an interview- I am very happy that it is a girl. But at the same time I also got scared. The first thing I did was to call Meera's father and say, “Papa, if I have troubled you at all during the marriage, or if anything of mine has upset you, then I apologize.” Now I have understood that I also have a daughter, one day she too will marry a boy. To be honest, at that moment the next 30 years of my life started appearing before my eyes.

Having a daughter is truly a wonderful experience. This is a very special feeling. Both Meera and I wanted a daughter. Earlier I used to 'frow' a bit, but now I have become completely domesticated.
