Shameful action of football spectators in Kerala: African footballer was chased and beaten by the crowd; FIR registered

An African footballer was assaulted by spectators during a club match in Malappuram, Kerala. Diarrassoba Hassan of Ivory Coast was chased and beaten. The footballer has alleged that the crowd also commented on his complexion. The player has lodged a complaint with the District Superintendent of Police.
