Snakes are becoming aggressive during the rainy season. Two incidents have been reported in Mathura in the last 24 hours. In which snakes have bitten an elderly woman and a young man. Both have been admitted to the district hospital by their family members in critical condition. At present, the condition of both remains stable.

These creatures coming out to breathe in the open air can be a danger to humans. However, experts on animals believe that they attack only when they feel there is a threat to their own life.

A woman was bitten by a snake while working

First I thought a rat had bitten me, then I saw a snake

Birma Devi, admitted in the district hospital, said that she was cleaning the house. During this time, someone bit her leg. She thought that it might be a rat because of the bite on her finger. But then she saw a black snake going from there. Due to which she got scared and informed her family members about it. The family first took her to the community health center from where she was referred to the district hospital.

A snake attacked while cutting fodder in the field

The second case of snake attack came to light from Randhera village of Thana Chhata area. Here Sukhdev was cutting fodder in his field. During this time, a snake attacked him. Sukhdev informed his family about the snake attack. After which the family took Sukhdev to the district hospital for treatment.

Sukhdev, who is admitted in the district hospital, said that he had gone to the farm to cut fodder for the animals. During this time, a yellow snake came and wrapped itself around his leg. Sukhdev said that when he tried to remove the snake, it bit his leg. After which his family members brought him to the district hospital.

2 died due to lack of timely treatment

Doctor Bhudev, the nodal officer in the CMO office, said that recently two people died due to snake bite in Thana Jaint and Thana Baldev areas. Because their relatives could not bring them to the hospital on time and they could not get treatment. Doctor Bhudev said that the first treatment for snake bite is anti snake venom. After applying this, a person’s life can be saved.
