Sadar Bazar Police Station and SOG Police team present on the spot after the encounter
The youth who shot a constable in a money transaction in Sadar Bazar police station area of Mathura has been arrested by the police in an injured state after an encounter. 9 days ago, the constable was shot by four youths at Tank Chauraha. After which the injured constable shot himself on Sunday.

Late on Monday night, the Sadar Bazar police station received information that Anil, the accused of shooting constable Ajit, was present near Gokul Barrage. As soon as the information was received, the Sadar Bazar police station and SOG team reached the spot. Anil opened fire to escape from the police. In response to which the police also opened fire.

Anil was shot in the leg in the firing by the police. Due to which he got injured. After Anil was injured, the police arrested him. After which he was sent to the district hospital for treatment. The police recovered a 315 bore pistol, 5 cartridges and a stolen bike from Anil.

Anil, who was injured in the encounter, has 17 cases registered against him. Cases of robbery, theft, assault are registered against Anil in Kotwali, Yamunapar, Raya, GRP police station Mathura Junction, Sadar Bazar and Iglas police station of Aligarh. Accused Anil had a dispute with constable Ajit over money transaction. After which Anil shot Ajit.

Kamal Singh’s 27-year-old son Ajit, a resident of Roshan Bihar Colony in Thana Jamunapar area of Mathura, was posted as a constable in the Badaun Police Line. Ajit came home on leave on September 5. Where he had a fight with a neighbor on September 7.

Ajit had a fight with his neighbor Neeraj over a transaction of 20 thousand rupees. The fight that happened late in the evening of 7th September was settled by the families of both. After which Ajit went out for a ride on his bike. Meanwhile, Neeraj went to drink alcohol with his friends Anil, Amit and another person. While drinking alcohol, Ajit once again got into a fight with these people. In which Anil shot Ajit with a pistol. Ajit got injured due to which he died during treatment on Sunday.
