Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal Wedding Guest List Revealed; Will Salman Khan Attend? | Exclusive – News18

After dating for about four years, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are all set to tie the knot on June 23 in Mumbai. Earlier today, Shatrughan Sinha reacted to the wedding reports hinting that the speculations may just be true. “All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahi lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain. We are waiting to be informed,” he had said.

And now News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that contrary to reports, Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding won’t really be an intimate affair as it will see some of the biggest names in Bollywood gracing their big day to shower blessings and love on the couple. A well-placed source tells us, “Apart from the Sinhas and the Ratansis, the ceremony will see many of Sonakshi and Zaheer’s close friends and peers. The lovebirds have extended an invite to Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Varun Sharma, all of who they share a deep friendship with it.”

The guest list also includes names from Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. “Through the course of the shoot and the promotional activities, Sonakshi went on to share a good bond with her co-stars and some crew members. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal Mehta and others have also been sent the wedding card,” states the source.

Divulging details about the card, our source adds, “It’s a beautiful card that reads ‘the rumours are all true’.” The couple never openly agreed to dating one another but were often spotted attending events and parties hand-in-hand. A while back, the duo jetted off to Andaman & Nicobar Islands and shared some stunning pictures from their diving trip. On the work front, Sonakshi and Zaheer have shared screen space in the film Double XL and a music video titled Blockbuster in 2022.

Now, the big question remains if Salman Khan will be attending their big day. “He has, of course, been extended an invite since he shares a great personal bond with both the families. But it’s still unclear if he can make it considering he will be busy shooting for Sikandar with Rashmika Mandanna,” our source says. Salman has been instrumental in launching both Sonakshi and Zaheer’s careers. While Dabangg marked her acting debut, the superstar brought Zaheer into the film industry with his production venture titled Notebook in 2019.
