Satish Kumar (91), who won the Olympic quota for the first time in super heavyweight, defeated Givaskov Nielsen of Denmark 5–0 in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Boxam International tournament in Spain.

Three more boxers have reached the semi-finals in the ongoing 35th Boxum International tournament in Spain and clinched the medal. At the same time, four women boxers including Mary Kom have already made their place in the semi-finals. On Friday, Satish Kumar, Ashish Kumar and Sumit Sangwan entered the semi-finals in their quarter-finals.

Among the men, World Champion Bronze medalist Manish Kaushik, Mohammad Hasamuddin and Olympic quota Vikasakrishnan have already finished in the top four.
