Sara Ali Khan’s brother Ibrahim Ali Khan will soon enter Bollywood with the film Sarzameen. Ahead of his debut, Sara shared some words of wisdom for him.
Sara Ali Khan has made her place in Bollywood ever since her debut in 2018. She has had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned directors and actors in the film industry. Now it is time for her younger brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, to set foot in the industry. Ibrahim is expected to make his acting debut with Karan Johar’s film Sarzameen, directed by Kayoze Irani, and featuring Kajol in a significant role. Ibrahim previously gained experience as an assistant on the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and now he is gearing up to face the camera. As Ibrahim prepares for this highly anticipated debut, Sara has some valuable advice to offer him as he navigates his way through the industry.
In an interview with ETimes, Sara Ali Khan was asked if she had any advice for her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan before he starts his career in Bollywood. She stated, “We don’t chat much about work and cinema at home, but the advice I would give him is what my parents gave me, follow your heart because there is a truth to that. There will be a lot of noise around you, but you have to stay honest and follow your path because that other person’s path you admire already has his/her own journey.” The actress added, “Don’t lie, because the camera will catch it and that is something I have learned.”
Sara said that for her, being her own self is easy, and although her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan is a different individual “he is honest, and his heart is in the right place, and that is what he really needs.”
Speaking about the competition Ibrahim is set to face with a slew of talented actors around him, Sara Ali Khan expressed, “Of course, there is competition, but there is also work for everyone. I feel secure where I am, and the audience today is intelligent and directors know exactly what they want. So, I think we all need to have conviction in our own skill set.”
Reportedly, after his debut with Sarzameen, Ibrahim Ali Khan will be seen in a Dinesh Vijan film that is tentatively called Diler. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite Vicky Kaushal. Sara will next be seen in the upcoming film Ae Watan Mere Watan and she has other projects like Metro: In Dino in the pipeline.
