Students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in Uttar Pradesh took out a Protest March to open AMU classes and hostels on Monday. The students were demanding that the AMU was closed for a long time and there were problems in doing online classes. Off-line classes should be started at AMU as soon as possible and arrangements should also be made for the students to stay in hostels.

Students said that classes at AMU have been closed for a long time due to Kovid-19 and students are almost doing online classes from their homes. The students took out this march from Maulana Azad Library to AMU’s Baba Syed Gate.

Students said that we have taken a Protest March on Monday so that our AMU administration is intent on opening AMU as all the universities have issued notices that their universities should be opened in a phased manner. But our university administration has not paid attention to it yet.

Classes should be started by calling all students
The students who took out the march said that we have come here to get a lot of attention. We want to say that our university has invited MBBS students to make their stay but on the other side there is also a BUMS student but has not called them yet. They are also being harmed. Too much is happening. Other students also said that arrangements should be made to open the offline classes of the university.
