Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt recently shot for the Ganesh Chaturthi special episode of the reality show ‘Super Dancer Chapter 4’. During the shoot, Sanjay Dutt and the show’s judge Anurag Basu remembered the late Sunil Dutt. During the conversation, Anurag narrates an anecdote that made Sanjay emotional.
Sanjay Dutt made a humble request to the youth of the country
After receiving a touching tribute from the contestant, Sanjay Dutt was heartbroken and he said, “I don’t have words, but I just want to say one thing that in life, I have never really earned money, but Have earned a lot of love and friendship and this has given me strength to face difficulties. I want to make a humble request to today’s youth, don’t live my life. Follow the law of the land, and love everything with your heart Keep it up. In the end, all I want to say is thank you.”
Anurag Basu’s dream of meeting Sunil Dutt remained unfulfilled
Further on the show, Judge Anurag Basu revealed a very special incident in his life which left everyone emotional. There was a time, when he wanted to meet Late Sunil Dutt Sahab and requested Mahesh Bhatt to arrange a meeting. Unfortunately, that day never came and Sunil Dutt ji passed away. Anurag was among the first few people who reached his house at that time and stayed with the family. And this was the day when Anurag realized the biggest gain of one’s life. He saw the immense love and respect of the people for Sunil ji. He had never seen anything like this before.
Sunil Dutt arranged a bed for Anurag Basu in the hospital
Anurag Basu wept while referring to this incident and he said, “I am telling this because once when I was sick (suffered with cancer) I was not getting beds anywhere in the hospitals. Mahesh Bhatt told Dutt Sahab. Who arranged the hospital for me within 5 minutes and for this I thank the Nargis Dutt Foundation at Tata Hospital. I am here today because of him (Sunil Dutt). Not only that, he is every two days I used to call me and inquire about my health. So, I am here today because of him and it makes me sad to think that I never got a chance to thank him. I am deeply indebted to the Dutt family. Am.” Let me tell you, Anurag Basu had blood cancer. In the year 2004, he came out after fighting this disease.
