Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer Aranmanai 4 is running exceptionally well at the box office. It has become one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies of 2024.
Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma never fail to shell out major couple goals. On Wednesday evening, the duo was spotted stepping out of the screening of โAranmanai 4โ Hindi version. The Tamil film, Aranmanai 4, starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Raashii Khanna, has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. Its Hindi dubbed version will hit the theatres on May 31.
In a video, shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Tamannaah held Vijay close as they posed for the paparazzi before heading back home together. Tamannaah looked stunning in an ivory suit, while Vijay kept it casual in black-and-purple shirt and black pants.
At a promotional event of the film in Mumbai today, Raashii exclusively spoke to News18 Showsha about her and Tamannaahโs film crossing Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. โIt shows that we can carry our films on our shoulder and deliver. For this, we also need filmmakers who believe in us, filmmakers like Sundar C sir who puts the efforts of placing a film like this on the shoulder of a female actor,โ she said.
Raashii continued, โI think art and cinema should be beyond gender. Itโs high time we treat it like that. Films like Article 370, Crew and now Aranmanai 4 have only proven that women are as far ahead in the game as men are,โ she shared.
Aranmanai 4 had a decent opening of Rs 4.65 crore, before gaining pace in the following weekend. In its first week, the film collected Rs 32 crore. While it earned around Rs 49.25 crore in its second week. The film is enjoying the highest theatre occupancy in Chennai with a large number of night shows.
After a series of flops with Bhola Shankar and Bandra, Tamannaah Bhatia made a smashing comeback with Aranmanai 4. The actress was reportedly paid between Rs 4-5 crore for this film.
