Taylor Swift is using the gap between her Eras Tour to cheer for her friend Ryan Reynolds and his latest film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Despite her busy schedule, The Tortured Poets Department singer watched the movie with the cast and shared a funny yet sweet message for Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Swift posed alongside Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy. In her post, Taylor Swift praised one of her best friends for pouring “his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness and magic” into the Marvel film. W
While fans thought Swift was giving a shout-out to Reynolds, she humorously revealed the message was actually meant for Hugh Jackman, while she jokingly called Reynolds and Lively “randoms.”
Taylor Swift added, “Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness and magic into this film. He’s created the best work of his life and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it. But that’s just Hugh for you. These other randoms crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave. Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor.”
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, married since 2012, are proud parents of four kids. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, known for hiding easter eggs in her music, allegedly mentioned the name of Reynolds and Lively’s fourth child in her 2022 album Midnights. Many fans thought the name was Daisy Mae, but while promoting Deadpool & Wolverine recently, Reynolds revealed that their youngest child is named Olin.
Deadpool & Wolverine unites Ryan Reynolds’ Merc With a Mouth with Hugh Jackman’s Logan after X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The MCU movie also stars Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Stefan Kapicic, Aaron Stanford, Brianna Hildebrand, Tyler Mane, Rob Delaney, Lewis Tan, Jason Flemyng, Kelly Hu and Ray Park.
