Virat Kohli will go on Paternity Leave after playing the first Test match on Australia tour.

Former Australia captain Ian Chappell has said that the absence of Virat Kohli in the three Test matches of the Test series during Team India’s tour of Australia will weaken the batting order. Kohli will go on paternity leave. The first Test match is in Adelaide from 17 December. India has to play three ODIs, three T20 matches as well as four Test matches on the tour of Australia.

Chappell told cricket website Crick Info – Young players will have a chance to prove themselves by not playing Kohli. However, it would have been challenging for the selectors to select a new player in place of Kohli.

Stoinis said – Kohli’s decision to go on paternity leave is right

Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis said Kohli’s absence from three Tests would not make much difference. We were not too worried about Virat. He is returning for the birth of his first child, this is a completely correct decision. I think this will bring positive changes in his life and sports.

Jampa said – Kohli laughs and jokes outside the ground

Australia’s leg-spinner Adam Jampa has said that Kohli looks aggressive during batting. But his behavior off the field is the opposite. He is very quiet. Makes fun with fellow players and interacts with them. Jampa plays Royal Challenges Bangalore in the IPL. Jampa said that Kohli too is a vegetarian like him. Many times he used to eat and drink coffee with them. Zampa is included in the ODI and T20 teams of Australia. Jampa said that bowling against Kohli is very challenging. He is a better player. He has scored 43 centuries.
