A man drove his lorry into a reservoir, after he blindly follow the driving instructions on Google Maps in Telangana Siddipet district.

The incident took place at the Gouravelli reservoir near the Gudatipally village. The lorry that came from Tamil Nadu.
The maps reportedly showed a straight road which was actually the reservoir. Since it was night, the driver kept on driving as he thought it was stagnated water due to rainfall.
But as he continued driving, so did the water level, eventually reaching up to the cabin of the lorry. Following this, the water entered the vehicle and the engine stopped.
The driver, and another person present managed to get out of the stuck lorry and went to ask for help in the nearby Ramavaram village.
After this, stop signs were put on the area, and the traffic was diverted to By-pass road.
