According to the information, this 70-seater aircraft Air 9691 of Alliance Air was delivered at Jabalpur Dumna Airport at 1.50 pm from the water canon. There were 31 passengers on this flight from Delhi. At 2.20 pm, this flight left for Bilaspur, so there were 25 passengers on board. The second flight from Bilaspur reached Jabalpur at 5.30 pm with 40 passengers. At the same time, 35 passengers from Jabalpur left for Delhi.
Enthusiasm in air travelers
The air passengers showed great enthusiasm for the new flight started from Jabalpur to Bilaspur. Airport director Kusum Das said that this flight of Alliance Air will fly four days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, this flight will leave from Delhi at 4 pm and reach Jabalpur at 6 pm and will depart from here at 6:40 pm and reach Delhi at 8:40 pm.
Going to Prayagraj will be easy
According to Director Kusum Das, keeping in mind the passenger amenities, the new flights have been launched under the Regional Plan (Regional Connectivity Scheme) of the Government of India. Bilaspur to Jabalpur, Prayagraj and Delhi have been connected under this scheme. This flight will also make it easier to go to Prayagraj via Jabalpur to Bilaspur. The fare from Jabalpur to Bilaspur is around 2200 rupees.
The first flight will operate on this route – Delhi-Jabalpur-Bilaspur-Prayagraj-Delhi
This will be the route for the second flight – Delhi-Prayagraj-Bilasupar-Jabalpur-Delhi
MPs joined in a virtual manner in the flight launch program
Local MP Rakesh Singh from Delhi also participated in a virtual manner in the inaugural program of this flight which started between Delhi-Jabalpur-Bilaspur-Prayagraj-Delhi. At the local level, BJP city president GS Thakur, Kamlesh Aggarwal, along with Air India CEO Harpreet SD Singh and airport director Kusum Das were present along with others.
Jabalpur becomes a big logistics hub: MP
According to Sasand Rakesh Singh, Jabalpur became a large logistics hub. Its most important is that there is good connectivity. In this direction, an attempt was made to start air service from Jabalpur to major cities of the country and it was successful. A new flight from Jabalpur to Bilaspur was started by Alliance Air for the fourth flight to Delhi. Along with this, people of Prayagraj will also be able to go by flight.
Airport advisory committee meeting tomorrow
The meeting of the Jabalpur Airport Advisory Committee will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 am at the Kalchuri Hotel Civil Line. In this meeting organized under the chairmanship of Lok Sabha Chief Whip MP Rakesh Singh, there will be discussion about the expansion of the airport and other development related works.
