Rampyare’s son Arvind had told the villagers that his father had died of a heart attack. But, when the villagers saw the dead body, they saw rope marks on its neck.
Meanwhile, the villagers also informed the police, who reached the spot and took Arvind into custody considering the seriousness of the matter. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
