In the case of killing four people including a woman in a land dispute in Amethi 10 months ago, the court acquitted the main accused, woman village head Asha Tiwari and her son late on Thursday evening. After getting information about the release of both the accused, the police administration reached the village. In view of the tension, a large number of police forces were deployed in the village late in the evening.

This whole matter is of Gungwach Gramsabha Rajapur village. Where on March 16, 2022, there was a dispute between former village head Amresh Yadav and his Patidar Ramdulare for many years regarding the occupation of barren land. After which an agreement was also made between the two to build on half the land. On the day of the incident, Ramdulare was getting the wall constructed on a larger portion of the allotted land. Meanwhile, former village head Amresh Yadav reached the spot with his parents and brother.

They forbade him to do so, only then the people of Ramdulare’s side, who were already ambushed, attacked all four with sharp weapons and sticks. Amresh’s family members, who reached the spot after hearing the screams, were also badly beaten up. Amresh and his father Sankatha died on the spot in the attack of the goons.

While Amresh’s brother Hanuman and mother Parvati died during treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. Half a dozen seriously injured people were treated at the district hospital. While an elderly woman was treated at the trauma center. After treatment, all recovered and went to their homes. After the incident, all the accused had fled from the spot.

Husband has already got bail

The investigation of the entire matter was received by the then Sangrampur SHO Parasuram Ojha. Village head Asha Tiwari and her son were proved innocent in the file sent by Parshuram Ojha to the court. After which the High Court gave the decision to acquit both of them. In this case, the court had already granted bail to Asha Tiwari’s husband due to lack of evidence.
