The body of a drunk youth was found near Jagdishpur Indian Petrol Tank in Zafarabad area of Jaunpur. The family members said that he was addicted to drinking alcohol. At present, the police has taken the body in its custody and started investigation.

The body of Rajesh Chauhan alias Tinku, son of Rampal Chauhan (35), a resident of Muradganj Naiganj, was found. Family members said that he was addicted to alcohol. He used to come home every night after drinking alcohol, but before that he used to stay in the area around Naiganj after drinking alcohol. But on Sunday, when he did not return home after drinking, we searched in the nearby villages and areas but could not find him.
It was always his habit to come home when he would get drunk. But he did not come yesterday. This morning we got information from a person that he was lying down due to intoxication. When we came and saw, the body had already been brought to the police station. Rajesh Chauhan used to support his family by doing labour work.

Rajesh Chauhan was married to Pooja Chauhan, daughter of Ajay Chauhan of Konia Kayajpura area of Varanasi in 2015. He has two daughters and a son. Police station in-charge Surendra Nath Singh said that further legal proceedings are being done by taking the body in custody and sending it for postmortem.
