Arvind Kumar, a resident of Mahendra Nagar, who sells chaat and chow mein in the town, was returning home by bike after selling goods from his cart late in the evening as usual. When he reached the wilderness near Mukimpur village at around 10 o’clock, three bike-riding miscreants overtook him and stopped him and looted his mobile (One Plus) and Rs 6,000. When Arvind’s brother Shravan Kumar protested against this, the miscreants beat him up and left him bleeding. After the incident, Arvind raised an alarm, due to which nearby people gathered, but seeing the crowd, the miscreants fled from the spot. After this, the victim went to Karari police station on Thursday morning and lodged a complaint with the police and demanded legal action.
Police started investigation
Police station in-charge Vineet Singh said that after receiving information about the incident, investigation was started immediately. CCTV footage around the incident site is being scrutinized so that clues to the miscreants can be found. The police will soon take action to arrest the miscreants and send them to jail.
