The fault of Kesco is not taking its name to stop. Saturday was also named after the fault. The middle of the population of about 6 lakh was badly affected. KESCO’s media in-charge Chandra Shekhar Ambedkar said that the faults had increased on Saturday due to rain. Most of which were fixed. Repair work on some continues till late night. Which will be fixed very soon.

The breakdown occurred due to underground cable fault supplying RPH old substation and UPFC feeder. There was power outage here on Saturday morning from 6 to 8 am. Aloomandi Block, Chappar Sub Centre, General Ganj. The supply of Maniram Bagiya and Rice Mandi feeder stopped with a loud bang. The repair work continued here from 12 noon till late night. Shutdown taken for installation of HT poles supplying World Bank Barra sub-station and Damodar Nagar first feeder. The Kesco team was engaged in repair work from 3 pm till late night. Supply was disrupted from 1 to 5 pm due to breakdown of HT line of Faithfulganj feeder of Harrisganj sub-station. Due to trip of Shanti Nagar feeder of Harrisganj sub-centre, the power supply remained closed from 1 to 4 pm. The supply of Tatmeel feeder of Harrisganj section had to be closed from 1 to 5 pm due to cable fault. The supply of Lal Bangla feeder of Harrisganj sub-station got damaged from 1 am due to underground cable fault, which continued till late night. The supply of plush feeders in the Salt Factory sub-centre of Sarvodaya Nagar section was shut down from 10 am to 1 pm due to the pruning of trees. In Shastri Nagar sub-centre of Ratanpur section, the maintenance work of supply transformer of Central Park feeder was done from 11 to 2 pm. The supply of Salt Factory Sub-station and Roshan Nagar feeder of Sarvodaya Nagar was closed from 1 to 4 pm due to the felling of trees. The breakdown taken at 2 pm due to breakdown of Ambedkar Puram feeder supply HT jumper of Kalyanpur section, repairs continued here late in the night.
