Let us tell you that the upper caste society was angry about the incident after the video went viral. For the last two days, people of the society were protesting, demonstrating and creating ruckus. On Saturday, there was a traffic jam at Badhauli intersection for about 3 hours. After this, ADM Sahdev Mishra, who reached the spot, calmed the situation by giving assurance of arrest within 48 hours.

A video of a fight in Unchadih village of Robertsganj police station area of ​​Sonbhadra went viral four days ago. In this, some people from the Scheduled Caste were catching hold of Amitesh Pandey and beating him with kicks and punches.

They were also threatening to implicate him in a fake case of SC-ST harassment. After the video went viral, the police registered a case and arrested two accused, but the people of the upper caste, angry at the failure to arrest the main accused, gheraoed the police station on Friday and protested.

People from all parties were present in the protest. Then ASP Tribhuvan Nath Tripathi had assured of arrest within 24 hours. Angry people gathered again at the police station on Saturday afternoon as no arrests were made even after the deadline had passed and from there they reached Badhauli crossing and blocked the road.

SP had assured of arrest

ASP Tribhuvan Nath Tripathi, CO Dr. Charu Dwivedi, Kotwal Satyendra Rai and a huge force reached the spot. They tried to end the jam by convincing the people but it did not work. The protesters remained adamant on getting arrested.

ADM Sahdev Mishra arrived at 3 pm and after talking to the protesters assured them that the main accused will be arrested within 48 hours. No one involved in the case will be spared, strict action will be taken. After this the jam ended.
