Additional CP and DCP City talking to teachers

The strike of teachers and non-teaching staff that was going on for the last 7 days at RBS College in Agra ended on Saturday. On Saturday, Additional CP Keshav Chaudhary and DCP City Suraj Rai reached the college to meet the teachers. The strike ended after the assurance of police officials.

Teachers stopped working
The teachers of RBS College had stopped working after this incident. For the last 7 days, the teachers were protesting in the college campus. The teachers had taken steps like not conducting the examination, not cooperating in the admission process etc. The teachers were demanding that Inspector Hariparvat and other police personnel who took them into custody be suspended. The case should be withdrawn. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University Teachers Association had also supported this protest.

the case will be dismissed
AUTA General Secretary Sanjay Mishra said that on Saturday, Additional CP Keshav Chaudhary and DCP City Suraj Rai talked to the teachers. They assured that the case against the Chief Proctor and the employees will be cancelled. Also, a departmental inquiry will be conducted against Inspector Hariparvat and other police personnel. The teachers demanded that Inspector Hariparvat be suspended till the inquiry is underway. During this, college principal Prof. Vijay Srivastava was present.
