Unidentified thieves targeted an abandoned house in Lalitpur’s Khandi and stole jewelery and cash worth lakhs of rupees. When the house owner returned in the morning, he found the locks of the house broken. The victim has informed the police demanding the arrest of the thieves. Pooja’s wife Dinesh Kumar, a resident of the gas agency located near village Khandi of Kotwali Talbehat, told the police in an application that her grandfather had passed away on Wednesday, 23 November. Due to which she had gone to her maternal home after locking the house along with her family members. When she returned at 10 am on Thursday, the locks of the doors of her house were found broken. When I went inside, I found that the locks of the boxes and cupboards kept in the house were broken and the idol of God, silver anklets, gold mangal sutra, a gold necklace, gold bangles, 20 thousand rupees in cash, LCD TV and others were kept in it. Household items found missing.

Police investigating the case
