This entire incident is of a month ago, i.e. 5th May. The father buried the body of his 14 year old daughter in the house itself. At that time the wife was at her maternal home. After 15 days, he called her and told her that the daughter had run away from home. When she reached home, the husband held her hostage and did not let her go out of the house. The wife somehow managed to get out of the house and reached the police station and registered a case.

The father who buried his daughter is addicted to alcohol

Father Sajeevan has 3 brothers. He has 100 bigha of agricultural land. All three of them farm their own share. Apart from this, Sajeevan works as a labourer. There are 7 people in his family. 2 sons, 2 daughters, wife and old mother. The elder daughter is married. Sajeevan is addicted to alcohol and after drinking alcohol, he often beat his wife and children.

He beat his wife so much that her leg broke
In the month of March, around Holi, Sajeevan came home drunk. Holi festival was near. When his wife Sunita said that nothing was happening in the house, he started beating her. He beat his wife so much with a stick that her leg broke. Angered by the beating, his wife went to her maternal home.

Now the father started living in the village with both the sons and the younger daughter. But Sajeevan did not stop his misdeeds. He used to come home drunk every day and beat his wife. Due to fear, the children often did not open the door of the house late at night. The children started living with their father in fear.

The mother was accompanied by her two sons, Amar and Samar, who were threatened by their father to remain silent.

Now let’s know how the incident happened
On 5 May, at 7 am, both sons Amar and Samar woke up. Their father Sajeevan told them that their sister had hanged herself. Both sons went to the front room but did not see their sister’s body hanging there. The body was lying on the floor and there was a claw mark on her neck.

After this, the father hid the body in the straw kept behind the house. He showed a knife to both the sons and said, if you tell anyone, I will kill both of you too. The children did not leave the house the whole day due to fear. That very night the father dug a 4 feet deep pit under the thatched roof behind the house and buried the daughter’s body after putting 4 packets of salt in it.

The body was kept hidden in this haystack throughout the day. At night, it was dumped behind the house.

After 15 days, he informed his wife that his daughter had run away
The deceased girl’s maternal uncle Jaishankar told the police that my sister was at my house. My brother-in-law called him and told him that Ranjana was missing. She went to her house without telling anyone. She told Sajeevan to go to the police but he did not go. Not only this, he did not even let her leave the house.

The sons had given information to their friends

Here, Amar and Samar were not able to tell anything to anyone after the incident. In the beginning, they did not even leave the house. After a few days, when they started going out, they told their friends that their father had buried their sister behind the house. But Sajeevan’s attitude in the village is very bad. Because of which no one talks to him. No one had the courage to ask Sajeevan.

Then after a few days, the mother of the dead daughter contacted her brother. The brother came and took sister Sunita to the police station, where he lodged a missing person’s complaint. After this, the police reached the village to investigate. After talking to the people around, the police suspected that the father was responsible for the disappearance of the daughter.

The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.

After this, Sajeevan was called to the police station and interrogation started. When strictness was shown, he broke down and told the police that he had buried his daughter behind the house. However, he did not confess to killing his daughter. He kept insisting that his daughter had hanged herself.

Neighbors suspected the father

The people around told in a hushed voice that he was a drug addict. He used to beat his wife after drinking alcohol every day. His wife was not at home for two and a half months. It is possible that Sajeevan first did something wrong and then killed his daughter. At present, the police have sent the body for postmortem and everything will be clear after the report.
