In Lucknow, the case of fire in the turpentine oil factory in Para police station area caught fire on Wednesday evening. The wife of Sushil, a laborer who died in the fire, refused to accept the dead body, demanding the arrest of the factory owner, government job and 50 lakh compensation. Police and PAC were called as the commotion escalated. At the same time, the district administration team pacified the family by assuring them of appropriate action.

Illegal factory of turpentine oil was running at the house of Pankaj Dixit, resident of Salempur Patora village on Para Mohan Road. In which worker Sushil died due to fire on Tuesday night. His wife Archana and relatives, who reached the post-mortem house on Wednesday evening, refused to accept the body. As Archana’s health deteriorated, the family members started raising slogans demanding action against the factory owner. Considering the seriousness of the incident, the PAC was also called along with the local police on the spot. The SDM reached the spot and pacified the family members. He talked about giving government accommodation and five lakh compensation to the family under DUDA.

Neighbor Sudha Singh told that the district administration has been giving assurances since night, but did not help. There is resentment among the family about this.

He also promised to extend all possible help to the victim’s family.
