Passengers are upset with the cleanliness and behaviour of conductors in roadways buses. They are complaining about this on the Chief Minister’s public hearing portal every day. Passengers from 8 districts have filed 1373 complaints on IGRS in the month of June. It is being claimed that these complaints will be resolved.

This matter came up in the meeting of Transport Minister

Passengers have to face problems while travelling in buses. This issue came to light in the review meeting of Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh on 25th July. In the meeting, online complaints of regional manager level were reviewed. Meerut region had the highest number of complaints in the review. Lucknow region was at second place and Agra region was at third place. These complaints were resolved in time.

290 passengers complained from Lucknow

A total of 1373 complaints were received including 295 complaints in Meerut region, 290 in Lucknow region, 178 in Agra region, 174 in Prayagraj region, 146 in Moradabad region, 149 in Bareilly region, 83 in Banaras region and 58 in Chitrakoot region. During this period, from 1 July to 22 July, 665 cases were registered on Transport Corporation’s helpline number 18001802877. Out of the 20 areas of Roadways, the highest number of complaints (65) have come from Ghaziabad region. Most complaints regarding arbitrariness of drivers and conductors have come on the helpline number.

At the same time, UPSRTC PRO Ajit Singh says that after receiving a complaint, the matter is investigated. Facilities are improved. Bus drivers and conductors are being trained.
